The idea came to me when I was watching my son play with a magnifying glass for the first time. I saw just how much fun he was having making lots of new discoveries.

I thought it would be great if we could amplify the little things we care about, the things that tend to get stored away out of sight or even come to enjoy completely inconsequential things by making them bigger.
